G’day all.
Before the weekly dispatches a small plug for tomorrow’s
Operation Slipper Welcome Home Parade.
Since Australia commenced deployments to Afghanistan, over 33000 Australian Defence Force personnel, Australian Public Service employees and Australian Federal Police have deployed to the Middle East Area of Operations as part of the operation. Tomorrow a nation-wide commemoration activity marking the end of Operation SLIPPER will be held in Canberra, Melbourne, Hobart, Townsville, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Sydney and Darwin.
